ASATM: Automated security assistant of threat models in intelligent transportation systems

The evolution of technology has led to the appearance smart cities. An essential element in such cities is mobility that covers subjects related Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). problem ITS vulnerabilities may considerably harm life quality and safety status human beings living In fact, software hardware systems are more exposed security risks threats. To reduce threats secure design, threat modelling been proposed as a preventive solution design phase. On other hand, always criticised for being time consuming, complex, difficult, error prone. approach this study, is, Automated Security Assistant Threat Models (ASATM), an automated capable achieving high level assurance. By defining concepts conceptual well implementing assistant algorithms, ASATM introduces new identifying threats, extracting requirements, designing software. demonstrates quantitative classification at three levels (insecure, secure, threat), twelve sub-levels (nominal scale colour scale), five-layer depth (human understandability conditional probability). evaluate effectiveness our approach, example with various parameters scenarios was tested results confirmed superiority over latest approaches terms method, learning, model understanding.
